Excerpt
Excerpt Xerox began its roll-out of IBM ERS, customized as the Xerox "E-Pay System," in February 2001. The deployment was completed in July 2001, when Xerox phased out any acceptance of hard-copy forms and checks, totally reimbursing employees through payroll.
IBM incorporated a daily corporate card data feed from Xerox's card provider, American Express. ...
Linking with Xerox's travel procurement solution from GetThere LLP, employees needing to secure a manager's approval on travel resercations before booking a trip now send the details of the reservations through E-Pay, which tracks the specifics of the trip after approval and helps pre-populate the form. When the employee returns and files the expense claim, E-Pay checks to make sure the costs are within a 20% threshhold of what was approved, or the claim has to be re-approved.
