The method according to Claim 1, wherein executing the simulation task comprises:executing a given sub-task, which comprises a value assignment statement, by a given co-simulator;

if the value assignment statement is a blocking assignment, returning a result of the value assignment statement from the given co-simulator to the simulator before execution of any non-blocking assignment; and

if the value assignment statement is a non-blocking assignment, returning the result after executing all blocking assignments.
