Suraj, can you suggest some femtocell references, either patents or publications, that could be used to show this is obvious? Remember - it needs to be obvious to someone with "ordinary" skill in the "art".

This application seems like it is trying to patent a feature or use of a femtocell, I am not sure it is non-obvious.

The patent is a great idea. However, there is some serious privacy security issues. Even though my latter comment does not affect the patentability of the patent, it is something that might have federal privacy code regulations. I think it should be something that should be carefully considered.

Safety is always a concern to legal authorities, but probably not during the patent application process. That's something for a different government entity to handle.
