This invention seems very similar to some of the apps out there, such as Google Latitude. The only concern is that the patent specifically mentions that the verification of the location returns you with the organization, the owners of it, the email address, and etc. I know that Google Latitude gives you some of the information based on the location, but it does not provide you with everything they mentioned. So, I'm not sure it would work as a prior art, but I'll submit it as a research item for further investigationMin Su Chung (about 2 years ago)
I agree that there are many location based mobile apps out there, but I don't really see how this is very similar to Google Goggles. From what I am aware of (I've never personally used it) Google Goggles is an image recognition system that does searches based on pictures taken by handheld devices.Min Su Chung (about 2 years ago)
