Whoo, boy, the description is long and in gory detail. Not so for the claims, fortunately. Claim 1 sounds like it basically covers a business rule repository and clients making use of same. The part about using same to ensure integrity is maintained without the need to test every combination seems a bit speculative. Anyway, there seems to be quite a bit of art on business rules (e.g., http://www.iadis.net/dl/final_uploads/200504D005.pdf and its references), but I don't know how easy it will be to find something covering the client loading of rules from the database into a meta system object and ensuring the integrity without testing.
