Paragraph 0060 discloses the ability to specify attributes or characteristics that limit or define the events, transactions, and behaviors ("triggering events") for which a customer earns a reward or rewards currency. Those attributes may comprise transaction date, time, location, frequency, amount, and other triggering attributes. Furthermore, paragraph 0124 discloses the verification of qualification for an offer based on the customer transactions and behaviors.

2008/0306790 teaches at Paragraph 0035 offers that are tailored to the offer recipient, based on the frequency of transactions (transaction history), and at paragraph 0058 to determine the 'soft copy' the capability of a communication device, and at Paragraph 0057 to identify Para 35, 57-58 of 20110022424 should be compared to Claims 1 and 3 of US 2008/0306790 A1.
