I agree with Dan that intel has devised many similar concepts that execute the dame functions.

Regarding Claim 00009

Intel's Thread Building Blocks has for some time had support for task stealing and such. Many of the claims listed here seem similar to what it does. Likewise, Boost::asio (plus some of my own designs) supports distribution of tasks to different processors and such and manages interrupts through the use of mechanisms like epoll, kqueue, select, iocp, etc with a main thread and "strands" that allow you to dispatch and guarantee serialization of a different task anywhere in the thread pool.
