The apparatus of Claim 1, wherein a first memory block is located at a beginning of a sequence of the plurality of contiguous, differently-sized memory blocks that collectively satisfies the request for the size of memory;
wherein the modified buddy system memory allocator provides an address of the first memory block to an application that made the request for the size of memory to allow the application to use the plurality of contiguous, differently-sized memory blocks.
