I'd also like to refer to a presentation given by Robert Danford at Sansfire in July 2006. While this presentation was given after the filing date of this patent application, it lists the various client honeypot projects (open source as well as commercial) that provide a good starting point to evaluate the novelty of the claims in this application. It seems like many organization must have had client honeypot implementations prior to this application filed. Regarding Claim 00019 - Sandboxing and behavioral malware analysis is not novel. It has been done for many years by the major anti-virus companies for example. Bloodhound by Symantec (http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/reference/heuristc.pdf) is an example that describes this technique. A potential virus is executed in a sandbox and certain behavioral actions (unauthorized state changes) are monitored to make an assessment on whether a malicious activity takes place.Christian Seifert (6 months ago)
Regarding Claim 00010 This claim describes a standard web crawler/ web spider that takes a URL, retrieves the resource, and recursively obtains URLs contained in the resource. This is not novel.PEER TO PATENT ACTIVITY
